Hello, and thank you for your interest in Daybreak! We’re a mid-core FC that strives to strike a balance between end-game and casual content. We try to help our members reach their goals, whether they’re raiding, leveling, crafting, gathering, and/or looking to make new friends. We endeavor to create a social atmosphere that is friendly, welcoming, and lighthearted.
Recruitment:Simple steps to help you join our jolly band of badasses!- You must be mature to become a member of Daybreak.
- We primarily use Mumble/Discord and our Forums to communicate. Being active in both will bode well for you.
- Having multiple jobs at rank 60 is always welcome but not required. While we strongly encourage having at least one job at 60, being active and willing to grow as a player is more important.
- We rarely accept packages (multiple people or groups demanding to come together-all or nothing) and will evaluate each applicant on their own merits.
How to Apply:- Link your character to Guildwork if you haven't already. You can find out how to do this here.
- Read our Rules Page in its entirety. If you believe you can abide by our rules, you may file an application.
- While filling out the application, it is important that you put effort and care into answering the questions. Not only do short answers tell us you're not interested in putting forth a good first impression, they don't leave us much to evaluate in terms of whether you're a good fit for the FC.
- Please note that applications will stay up for 48 hours before being approved or denied.
- If your application is approved and you do not contact an Officer for an invite within 14 days of the acceptance date, you forfeit your right to join and will not be allowed to apply a second time.
- Upon reaching 30 days of activity as a recruit in good standing, you will be evaluated by the Officers and granted member status.
- Recruits who leave the FC of their own volition during the recruitment period may not file a second application with the FC in the future.
Conduct:- Daybreak has members from all over the world and all stages of life. Language and behavior are expected to be appropriate in chat. Remember that context can help draw the line between what is appropriate and what is not.
- As a group on FFXIV, we are subject to the Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. Note that personal attacks and hate speech are not tolerated here or anywhere on FFXIV. If you see something that concerns you or violates the rules, please contact an officer or use our Feedback form to report the violation. Failure to follow these rules may result in disciplinary measures. Behavior that breaks SE TOS or CG may result in getting banned from FFXIV.
- The leadership consists entirely of players who have volunteered their time and expertise to make this FC happen. No one gets paid, and we all have real lives and responsibilities outside of the game. We also enjoy eating, sleeping and spending time away from the computer on occasion.
- Tone is hard to convey with text. Give others consideration in your writing as well as when you read what they have written.
You must be logged into Guildwork in order to apply and/or view your application status.
